Let’s MOVE Challenge

Let’s Move for Good: Join the Let’s Move & Donate Food Challenge

This March, your movement can mean so much more than a great workout.

From 10–27 March 2026, NARC is proud to take part in ‘Let’s Move & Donate Food’, the 2026 edition of Let’s Move for a Better World – the largest social campaign in the global fitness industry. Powered by Technogym and in partnership with the UN World Food Programme, this challenge brings communities together around the world with one powerful goal: turning movement into meals for children in need.

What is the Let’s Move & Donate Food Challenge?
The challenge runs for 18 days, uniting gyms, leisure centres and individuals across the globe. Together, the Technogym community is working towards an ambitious target of 1 billion MOVEs, which symbolically represents the donation of 1 million school meals to children facing food insecurity.

At NARC, we’re calling on our members and staff to get involved, move more, and help us show that our community is one of the most active – and generous – in Australia.

What are MOVEs?
MOVEs are Technogym’s unique unit of measurement that tracks both the duration and intensity of physical activity. Every workout you complete and track correctly earns MOVEs, contributing to both your personal total and the overall challenge goal.

Every 2,000 MOVEs earned symbolically equals one school meal donated, making every session – big or small – part of something much bigger.

How can you earn MOVEs?
During the challenge, participants can earn up to 2,000 MOVEs per day by staying active and tracking workouts through the Technogym App.

You can earn MOVEs through:

  • Training on Technogym cardio equipment at NARC
  • Participating in group fitness classes
  • Completing gym workouts
  • Tracking outdoor and on‑the‑go activities, including walks, runs and other activities logged through the Technogym App or via your connected wearables

This means you can take part whether you’re training in the gym, attending classes, or staying active outdoors.

Why get involved?
Let’s Move isn’t just about fitness – it’s about community, purpose and impact. By taking part, you’ll be:

  • Supporting the UN World Food Programme and helping provide school meals to children in need
  • Motivating yourself to stay active and consistent over 18 days
  • Contributing to a global movement alongside millions of others
  • Helping NARC be one of the most active leisure centres in the country!

Every MOVE matters — and together, they add up to real change.
